Summer

Lazy days.  So relaxing around here lately. Not a lot of sewing....a lot of very enjoyable days though.

A little progress.

After sewing for a weekend......a little progress.  Can't wait to get them to the quilter.

School's out for summer...

80 days to do only as I please..well, kinda. Today I'm doing just what I please and it is in the form of finding my sewing room. I think I like it. It feels less crowded and more user friendly. I wish I could say that for the bathroom. Ordered a new shelf, hopefully that will help.

My goals for the summer are; paint bedrooms, garage sale, walk, study, service and sew a lot with friends! The trick for me seems to be, to squeeze every moment out of everyday but savor it too.

One day of work and I'm caught up. Well, kind of. They are all ironed down. Now i need to stitch my fingers off. I think there is eight more months to go......yep, you will have to see these blocks a ton more times.

Starting to look like home. You can see by the light bulbs hanging, still have things to buy and work to do. I can't wait for spring break, time to putter and get things feeling really "homey".
