Moving on

I have loved this house.  It has changed a lot since we moved in.  Thinking about that, my family has changed a lot since we moved in.  Drew was in the fourth grade and Sara was in 7th.  I actually enjoy change.  We are putting the house on the market.  The Realtor is coming Friday.  The new house is not ready to move in and this one is not ready to be on the market.  We have loads of work to do. I love the process...paint, counter tops.... the whole thing.  The only thing I will miss is the fish & the neighbors.  I hope we can dig a new pond and come get a few of them (the swimmers) from the new owner.  Simplifying will be the goal but in a lovely way.

  5. Fir Hollow...oh the fun memories! Watching cooking shows on PBS, kids playing, staying up late talking, watching you make chicken mole and thinking you were insane to eat that concoction (but it was actually good!), and far too many laughs to count...

  9. I loved that apartment. Funny how the memory of the house can take me right back there. That is where I was pregnant with Sara. Hmm what a great although "barfy" memory.
